Benefit Type Dimension This dimension categorises the reported data according to information based on the type of benefit applicable. Non Participating Benefit The reported information relates to policies providing non-participating benefits. Non-participating benefit has the meaning given in the Life Act. Participating Benefit The reported information relates to policies providing participating benefits. Participating benefit has the meaning given in the Life Act. Minimum Benefit The reported information relates to a member's minimum benefit that is required to be paid. Accrued Benefit The reported information relates to the benefits to which members have an absolute or potential entitlement on. Includes: Any amount that would be payable out of those benefits to the member's spouse or former spouse under a payment split. Vested Benefit The information reported is in relation to the benefit payable to a member if the member voluntarily terminated service with their employer and/or withdrew membership from the fund. This includes allowances for any options the member could exercise where the option is consistent with the funding calculation.
