Step In Risk Relationship Dimension This dimension categorises the nature of the relationship of the reporting entity with the step-in risk entity. Debt Investor Debt investor is a relationship where the authorised deposit-taking institution invests in the step-in risk entity's debt instruments. Exclude regular business such as a lending relationship to operating entities, such as a wholesale loan to a corporate entity. Equity Investor Equity investor is a relationship where the authorised deposit-taking institution invests in the step-in risk entity's equity instruments. Exclude regular business such as investments that arise from market-making, such as equity shares held in the trading book or negligible investments. Sponsor Sponsor is a relationship where the authorised deposit-taking institution manages or advises the step-in risk entity, places its securities into the market or provides liquidity and/or credit enhancements. Other Other is any relationship which is not a sponsor, debt investor or equity investor relationship.
